Looking for a decent barman with experience to work at an Irish pub in Yantai, China. Minimum one year contract, return flights and accommodation included with a monthly wage. Please contact us at REMOVED-BY-MODRATOR@gmail.com, our website is www.druidsirishpub.com

MOD NOTE: This post appears to contravene the W&J charter ("please don't sign up for boards just to list a job here").

I've let it stand because it's Christmas, and because Mr Loverman has responded to it.

But don't take it as a precedent, and note that replies need to be by PM because policy is not to display email addresses here.

Also, potential employees might like to carefully consider any employer whose official address is whatever@gmail.com .... just saying.

That would be a savage job for anyone in Ireland who is thinking about going for it...

I live in Beijing and have been in Qingdao (down the road from Yantai) loads of times if anyone has any questions about living or working in China.

Lucky you Mr.Loverman, I taught english in Beijing for a few months and absolutely loved that city- I rate it as once of the best in the world and up there with London, NY, Hong Kong, etc.

If I was 20 something again I'd be biting the OP's arm off for a job like that. In any case for people who miss out it is very easy to get work teaching english in Beijing, or anywhere in China for that matter. Don't expect the pay to be red hot but you will have a good laugh, both in and out of school ;)

Thanks, Mr.Loverman Yantai is a very cool city and the westerners keep coming back for holidays after they left :) Next time when you are in Qingdao, pop down to us and have a drink on us. It's only 2 and half hours drive from Qingdao :)

    Hi RATM
Yeah it's pretty cool down here and the summer is absolutely beautiful. We have beach barbecues every weekend. I love Beijing but personally I like Yantai more. :) It's much smaller and cleaner and people here are much more friendly and happy. It would be good craic for anyone who wants to experience Chinese culture. We had an lovely Irish bar man with us for 4 years, and he recently had an baby and decided to move on with his life. Anyway come and visit us when you are in China. :-)
