    Hi,

Has anyone here been to China lately or is in the process of preparing?

Does anyone know if a person can get all the travel vaccinations needed in one visit to a clinic or GP?

Or does it require multiple visits?

The recommended shots are diphtheria, tetanus and hepatitis A&B.

    Cheers.

If you already know from a GP or equivalent that those are the ones you need then you'll need more than one visit. They won't give you more than a certain number of shots in one visit for one, secondly, although some shots can be combined, e.g. A+B are recommended to be taken together as they're more effective that way (I know this from our GP, but confirm with your own).
Also Hep B requires more than 1 shot, i.e. you take one, then 2 weeks later or a month then 6 months later, or something to that effect (ask your doc).
Then they check your bloods about 2 years later to see if you built up right amount of antibodies, if not you'll get more vaccinations again. Don't worry about this til later though ... :) I do not believe you get 100% coverage against Hep B though until the 6 months unfortunately.
