New Mixer Recommendations

    Hi Folks,

Been toying with the idea of getting a new mixer but at the moment don't want to shell out mega bucks. Often thought about getting a loan, and going all out on a DJM800 or DJM900 Nexus. That however will have to wait.

So my question is, what is the next decent step down? I have a Behringer DDM4000, love it but it is starting to show its age. Also starting to get a little noisy on the outputs / knob twirling. So it needs to be changed. 4 channels a must with at least filters. I looked at the Behringer NOX range but its really suspicious that Thomann stopped stocking the NOX606, and it seems really hard to find anywhere else.

Am I mad to be staying at a lower price bracket? Or just take the plunge?

Seen some of the denon stuff (500, 900) going cheap on adverts.

I have the denon x500 as my main mixer and a used x400 that i bought for 80 euro as backup. Brilliant mixer for the money. A good condition used one would be the way to go IMO.

Cheers folks. Still in the higher bracket however. Might just stay in the Behringer section.
