It's Upgrade Time Again

Some money fell out of santa's pocket while he was passing through the other night and he never called back to claim it even though I shouted up the chimney . I have now decided to put that to my other savings to upgrade my pc so if it happens next year I can e-mail him really fast to come back and get it .

Heres what I have

20" Samsung 2 year old Monitor
xfx 5770
1TB hard drive

With Amd Phenom II x4 955 , 8 gigs Ram , ASUS M4A77T/USB3 - AM3 Socket

I am thinking of purchasing This 23" monitor , 7870 graphics card and 2TB HD

What say you all ?

And now a little bit about me , I can't really afford to spend any more , I need more HD space badly and I am usually about 18 months behind the tech curve and happy at that , I play BF3 and will be playing COH 2 when/if it comes out in March .

You could save on the monitor - I've a BenQ G2420HD yoke that set me back €149 18 months ago and has never given me an ounce of trouble. Works perfect with BF3 too. This would be the current equivalent.

I have been told an inch can make a massive difference :o

Am I jumping the gun a bit with the graphics card , is there any sign that they will be coming down in price , anything new on the horizon ?
