Winning her back

    Any help would be appreciated.

In early 30s and spent 10 weeks dating a fabulous girl. All ended suddenly at end November because she was just not sure what she wanted. I was shocked and hurt and thought it was going well. I didn't and still don't understand what happened.

But i licked my wounds and had a tough few weeks before Christmas. Took advice from friends and made no contact until yesterday...

Sent a quick text wishing her a happy Christmas and asking her if she would like to meet for a Xmas drink. She does and we are in a few days.

I know from a mutual friend/cousin that she had been told by her sisters that she was crazy to end things so soon but she did not contact me.

Would love to try again but don't want to pressure her. Any tips on how to approach this meeting. Enjoy it for what it is? Ignore what happened? Or catch up and then talk about what happened. We never knew each other before dating so its not as if two old friends are meeting up.

    Thanks

You can't ignore what happened , but like that I don't think this drink should serve as an autopsy of previous encounters....I'd say just to enjoy it for what it is, and see how you get on....
    And best of luck :)

    Hi,
Sorry your going through this at Christmas. I'm dealing with something similar.... not nice!!!!! Anyway I agree with the above. You should meet her and be yourself. Don't drag up the past there is really no point. If you do that and she still is unsure about what she wants she'll possibly regret meeting up. Just be yourself and try to build on things from there. If she wants to talk about it then yes thats fine. Hope it goes well :)

I'd wait until after a couple of drinks. Tell her you missed her. Kiss her gently and quickly. And then leave. She will call you if she wants you
