hey, just wondering which websites are tried and tested for buying pc components from for delivery to Ireland. I have my entire computer ready to buy from hardwareversand.de but I'm not sure if I should order. Are they safe? Is delivery really only 5 euro extra? Or is there another better website I'm not aware of?

Delivery should be around €20, well it was when I ordered in October..

So is it safe to order then? I have around 1000E worth of stuff I'm about to buy, do you happen to know how long it will take to arrive?

I'd recommend them. Fast delivery, decent customer service (when you ring them that is). Takes approximately 5 working days to get to you one you pay/its assembled

great. One last thing, I'm wondering if there are any alternative websites for the Irish buyer seeing as some things are really overpriced over there

Ordered off them a couple weeks ago. Highly recommended. Had it in about 4 or 5 days. Shipping is e18.99, they built it for e5 extra. Paid through Paypal but they charge extra for it. Tracked it all the way from Germany also.

Assembley was ~€20 on top of shipping, dunno where you got it for €5 :p

It was a special deal for a week where they'd build it for €5.

OP, do you mind posting what you're ordering before you go ahead and do so? There might be some things that we can improve :).

If you think its overpriced on hwvs, you're not going to like the prices on the Irish websites.

spent around 14K with them the last I checked. not all my own money, but all from my account. had a few RMAs too, and they haven't been a problem with that either. I continue to use them, and have another order arriving on the 31st.

only thing they're not great at is responding to emails.

    LOL

The reason everyone orders from them on here is because they're one of the cheapest sites that ship to Ireland. Best of luck to you finding any Irish places that are cheaper.

They are fine but don't ever order a part that is not in stock expecting them to get it in. This delayed my delivery this year by 3 weeks so just make sure it is in stock and you'll be grand. I paid them by Paypal also so no probs.

Hmm... I want to know the best value card on the market right now can play all the latest games (skyrim, arkham city, maybe some cheeky BF3?) @1080p maximum settings and what cpu to go along with it to avoid bottlenecking

7850 / 7870, depending on price differences. Then overclock it. That's your best bang per buck.
