Myself and a mate are going to try our first build and are looking for some advice. He has decided to buy everything new from Hardwareversand and we need some advice.

    1. What is your budget? €600, he wants to do it cheap as possible but not need to be upgrading it again for a few years. If that makes sense.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming/Internet. Would like to play the newer games on high settings.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? No

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1920x1080 .No plans to upgrade. Its a cheap 23" DGM monitor but has done its job so far.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.] Don't need keyboard, mouse or speakers.Would it need a card reader?

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

    8. How can you pay? whatever way is cheapest/handier.

    9. When are you purchasing? no panic, within the next couple of weeks.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? We are going to try it ourselves but if we get into trouble we have a mate who will do it.

any advice would be great ,we have our own ideas but are looking for some expert advice.
