    saw a guy in college playing snes games on his nintendo 3ds am wondering how exactly is this possible and what games are availible

    What game did you see him playing? There's none actually legitimately available.

    That's the GBA re-release. There were 10 GBA and 10 NES games given to early adopters who purchased the 3ds before the price cut. This is the only way to get GBA games (currently anyway).
