So I was going to order my PC parts when I noticed my motherboard wasn't going to be dispatched til 2013. Now I've heard it's risky to order if the item isn't ready so I was hoping for some advice. Should I order it? Wait for it to be in stock? Or you could always recommend a similar MoBo with about the same price. Thanks.

Actually just noticed that msi board does not have sli.

This board is at least as good if not better,is cheaper and is in stock

Any reason that one is better yet cheaper? I'm new to this whole PC building thing so I'm kind of lost. =)

Well my motherboard is a more expensive MSI and I have built a few PCs using the ASrock Z77 pro recently and wish I has gone with ASrock for mine.
I've found the overclocking features in the Asrock good which is what you want when paying the extra for the Z77 chipset.
Asrock make the best bang for buck motherboards at the moment.

What cpu are you putting into it? do you plan to do much overclocking?

technically the MSI g45 is a better OCer cause it has better vcore control than the equivalent asrock. I'm all for supporting asrock this round, but the MSI is hard to beat. are you in a rush to get it?
