Even if you only use this as a 3D bluray player or for Netflix or RTE player, and never do any gaming, a slim ps3 at that price is a good deal..

And even as a gaming machine, spend €50 a year on PS Plus and you get 2-3 full games free (albeit, you'll need a bigger hard drive) every month! Well worth it, I've gotten €150+ worth of games since September.

What are the quality of the games? Best sellers or bottom self stuff? And is it true you loose them once you give up your subscription?

    Cheers

If you upgrade the hard drive on this, does the 12gb Solid State Remain, or does that come out?

Can this play legacy PS2 games? (of course we can just the old PS2 for them).

    no

    _______

This deal is maybe a little bit better.

You get the same console but for an extra £20 you get a game and some trigger things

    Notable Games are:

    Assassins creed 3 (most expensive)
    Fifa 13
    Madden
    Far Cry 3

I'd say AC3 has the highest trade in value, but im not certain.

And if whoever you are buying for would be interested in Skylanders, the skylander ps3 £149.99 , so £30 more than the ops link, seems good value if you would be getting it anyways. I think you can do the same deal with adding the extra game for £20. The skylander one is there in the link anyways.

    And also!

If you are looking to increase the hard drive size you will need one of these. I think spome people have DIY solutions for this but for £8 I just went for that one.

I'm guessing that not on any of the current PS3's.

not since the launch one. you might pick up one on adverts or somewhere but to be honest at this stage I would avoid them as they are ticking time bombs. I got this to replace my launch console (which has been broken for a good while). If you do manage to get one it wouldnt be much cheaper than this.
