Is it me or is the Christmas spirit and joy getting worse and worse every year
I mean like 2006-2009 Those were the years to enjoy Christmas there would be snow there would be carolers coming all over the hood there would be so many ads and sales and so much enjoyment you could actually hear people celebrating from England
But now lol you barely lucky enough to see the Christmas lights
Or its probably because during 2006-2009 i was in primary
    Any one elses thoughts ??

    It's called a pedestrian crossing.

A pedestrian is a person on foot.

A foot is the thing with toes attached on the end of each of your legs.

You do know what legs are....right?

If you want it exciting again, have a kid. And a rich mother in law. I just got new addidas , binoculars and a gun cleaning kit.

I am actually starting to enjoy Christmas (well the actual day anyway, the "season" drags on) more as I get older. It's great to get all the gifts, be on holiday ect. when you're young. But now I still get great stuff, but I appreciate the day, the food, the family, and the cultural impact of it all a little more.

OP, You're Ross O'Carroll-Kellys kid, am I right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭longshanks

Christmas is brilliant. There is a hoopload of crap on the box, cheap carrots and Cava in Lidl, every night is a night out, vsit your family and friends and be glad you have em, there's time off, sales if that is your thing, shaking hands with the men and a kiss for the ladies, friendly barmen giving you that drink on the house, christmas trees- real ones, presents, vouchers, trifle & mince pies after big dinners, jumpers, cor du roys (some people like em), nephews & nieces and forgetting to buy batteries.
Anyway, I like it, have a good one. x
