Its already Xmas morning here in NZ and hate to tell you this but its 27 degrees and we just had Xmas breakfast in our shorts :)

Another year has blasted past and its been great to be part of so many discussions on here, learn even more about aviation and speak with some really interesting people. The industry has its ups and downs but most people just get on with it following the career they have always wanted and getting up there mixing it up with the clouds.

Have a great new year everyone, I for one am looking forward to getting airborne even more this year and hopefully finally getting through my microlight licence. Whatever your plans I wish you all the very best.

    Paul

    Merry Christmas everyone

It's been great to be around here for the past few months and read or take part in some discussions. I'm only new but I learned a lot from here. Here's hoping for an even better year :)

Happy Christmas to all! Especially those away from home in the aviation industry, If there are any/many Irish crews over-nighting anywhere! Do EI overnight crew on Christmas? Or WX?

Merry Christmas to all on boards aviation....

And yes EI do overnight crew at Xmas. Flights will leave the US tonight (already airborne in some cases) to land in tomorrow morning. No flights Eastbound on the 24th as DUB is closed on the 25th. Mostly volunteers but I am reliably told that every year a handful of poor sods get the short end of the stick.
