I was just in Centra in Navan and they are doing Tropicana for 1 euro each, unsure if this is nationwide, not sure how much it is usually as I never buy it as it is quite expensive, think its over 2 euro.

It's usually 2.49 or 2.99, so good deal.

Yeah, says the €1 offer starts on the 26th December, but Centra seem to have reduced the price already.

In fairness, my local one has always a couple of good deals going on, beating the local Superquinn and Tesco.

A couple of loss leaders to get you in the door, then they fleece you on everything else, unless you have discipline to only get the good deals.

    very little if any difference

    Tropicana is an over-hyped rip-off.

Jaysus, I didn't know this. God, they've everything ruined.:(

Interesting article alright. I suppose they must put in the pulp later on too. There is definitely a less sour taste from the NFC orange juice whether from sweeters or what.

I actually think the aldi and lidl freshly squeezed 100% orange juice tastes nicer and its always only €1.40 for a litre

Yeah Tropicanna is over hyped as pointed out by another poster and not worth the price. I love the one in Lidl, forget the name but its 1.5 litre and offers far better value.

The couponers are aware that you can get two litres of Fruice orange juice for €1.30 using pigsback coupons

Innocent 900ml juice is 2.50 in Tesco as well. It looks and tastes like the real thing, including fruit sediment.
