Saorsat - sound out of sync?

    Has anyone noticed the sound out of sync on the Saorsat channels since last night? Pictures seem jumpy too.

    Yes I am having this problem too. Am too lazy at the moment but will try retuning them in tomorrow. Thats about the limit of my techy knowledge on these things! :)

    There's also been no EPG info from Saorsat since early Xmas eve.
    Whilst you may have EPG info, it's not updating and there seems to be only info up to the 29th.
    Can anyone else confirm this?

    Anyone able to disect the incoming stream should see there is no PID 18 present.

    Yeah, saw that saorsat service became unusable sometime last Monday. I checked on the boards to see if anyone else was affected but noone had posted yet. I wasn't sure if it was my own setup or not so had to wait until after the xmas madness before I could start checking it out. I'm using saorsat & freesat feed into a Vu+ Uno and the UK services on 28.2 were unaffected.

    Once I checked everything out on my end I was fairly certain it was the content itself (no audio apparently no p-frames in the mpeg stream).

    Anyhoo, yesterday I emailed RTE NL technical support and got an out-of-office so followed up with another mail to Comreg, the DCENR and RTE NL Network Operations Centre. After about two hours service seemed to be restored. Don't know if contacting them had any effect.
