    Hey Guys,

I build my computer a good while back, and I wanted to see if theres room in the current build for improvement, or if I would have to start from scratch.
not sure what my budget is, not a lot, but would just like to know what my options are ya know.

    currently have:

    Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz Socket LGA1156 8MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor

    ATI HD4890

Gigabyte GA-P55-US3L P55 Socket 1156 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

    4x Kingston 1GB DDR3 1066MHz i5 Memory Module CL7 1.5V 128491

Im currently using a 1tb hdd, but I am planning on getting ssd soon.

    any help is appreciated!

CPU is still very decent probably no need to go near that yet, if you don't already have a good cooler for it you could get One and try a bit of overclocking. Definately upgrading to 8 gb of RAM, an SSD and a new graphics card would keep you going for another few years.

GPU ought to be at least a HD7850 for a decent performance improvement, so you would be looking at around 180-190 euros or so. Depends on exactly how much you would like to spend.

I'd agree that the graphic card is sticking out as a sore thumb here. More ram never hurts and it's so cheap these days so going to 8GB makes sense.

well ideally id like to keep it to 200 to 300 when I can spare that amount.

but yeah, you wouldnt believe how much that graphics card is sticking out.
the fan died on it about 6 months ago or so.
I basically took it off and strapped two case fans to it.
cant wait to be rid of it.

    Thanks lads.

I think you're getting the HD7850 mixed up with the HD7950.

OP, you'd be looking at a GTX 650ti or a GTX 660 but to be honest the HD7850 would be your best bet.
