The children I was out lamping with tonight wanted this up, its not much to report but here goes.

Nailed this dog fox at approximately 130yards tonight. He wasn't really taking any notice of the call and was casually just walking away from the lamp, he only looked up once as he was walking away from us and that was enough. Hit him broadside with a 55grain v-max from the .223 it nearly cut him in 2.

Big up to the 2 buckos I was out with tonight, one fellah clipped a fox at about 40 yards; the fox ran off howling. The other fellah took off running after him, it was funny seeing a fellah coursing a fox, but fair play to him for making every effort to put him out of his misery.

All and all we didn't see to many foxes, none that were shootable anyway, but it was good to get a tail all the same.
