All you need to do is post your current exact handicap, your username and the date as of your current handicap and then as changes occur throughout the year update the handicap in the list as you see fit.

It's also good for rivalry and railing if your close in handicap to other boards users, trying to get ahead of them, or not letting them get ahead of you

When posting your list, remember to copy and paste the list from the poster above you and insert your position on the list

I'll get the ball rolling.

not sure if we can do it on the table, but arrange by handicap ascending. Just for ease of formatting and so people can see who's around their handicap more easily.

I just quote the table from above, copy a line from it and paste it into the correct position. Then edit the text.
That's the only way I could do it, maybe there is a easier way though.

Joined a club in 2007 and started 18 so losing average 2 per year. Holding 8 will be tough, getting to 6 is über ambitious as my only ever goal was single figures but might as well try go for it!

Haven't a clue how to add to the table, but, finished this season on 12.0 after starting off at 18.6 so not expecting too much this coming season. Would be delighted to get below 11.0.

No I haven't tbh, genuinely not good enough. I feel unless u DOMINATE Irish amateur scene for min 2yrs then it's dreamer territory.... But thats a whole new thread tbh! Il hang tough for the seniors tour...:p

It always fascinates/amazes me the huge differences in such apparently small numbers. I personally find it hard to understand how people can get so much better than, say, your standard, which is on a completely different planet to even the very good/top club golfer. So I'm off 8 let's say, I see lads off 3 who are in a completely different league. Then to see lads of scratch/plus which is again, a completely different league to a 3 standard. Then as you say, the sort of standard which could dominate the amateur scene or carve a modest living as a pro, then the Tour Pro's, the top pro's... looking at some 3 handicap golfers I wonder how it's physically possible for anyone to be SO much better than that standard. I guess it's mostly distance that seperates people as the levels step up.

How lucky we are to have witnessed some of the greats over the past 20/30 years and today.
