    Hello Everybody,

Bits and pieces of my PC have been arriving in the post but I haven't yet made the move to buy windows.

I was thinking of just getting Ubuntu and running with that but since I've been looking into getting a graphics card, I've started to think about getting a few games. It appears possible to run games on linux using wine and steam but I not looking forward to spending hours trawling the web because of problems, etc.

Windows 7 64 bit is about £70 on amazon. This of course is daylight robbery for a global operating system and that's why microsoft have a market cap of $230 billion. Monopoly is not just a board game.

Anyway, who cares. Does anyone know of any cheaper deals/ options for buying windows?
