Vintage TV and the CBS channels are shakey.

    All other channels seem ok.

The arm thing from the dish was replaced last week.

Still - most other channels seem pretty ok.

Check your signal quality and you may find that once the engineer got some sort of signal he was happy not to return to the roof to adjust it to make it stronger.
My signal is at about 20% and everytime it rains or heavy cloud the same with 369 and also 105 is poor. A simple fix is next time I will make sure engineer will not leave till quality is perfect

Vintage TV, CBS and one of two others I think are on a marginal Eutelsat transponder,

Vintage tv on 12560H . One of the transponders I use to align a dish as it is weak.
The chances are the lnb arm the sky guy ( don't call them engineers! ) replacec is not positioning the lnb at correct focal distance . There have been many makes and models of sky dishes over the years and many different arm lengths.
It's bad policy to replace just an arm anyway. The rest of the dish will probably rust away soon.

Mosr channels seem ok - except CBS ones, Vintage tv and some radio channels.

No, don't wait . Get them to come back a do a proper repair / alignment FOC .
If they quibble tell them you wish to cancel.

I used a steel wire brush to remove the rust from an old Sky dish and painted it several months back and it is like new. The Sky dishes are poor quality mass produced muck and are perforated to be cheaper to transport. They perform like crap in a rain shower, 80 CM dishes would be far superior. If left alone as you say they will rust or rot to bits within five or so years. Hammerite or similar would be expensive metal primer paint to use but would last for years. Some installers must be very mean or else the extra taxes they will be paying next year after the budget has made them tighter with the money. It is ridiculous that the self employed were hammered for extra tax and a higher USC (Universal Social Charge) If anything their taxes and charges should be lowered as the so called Government should be supporting them and commending them for going out on their own. Democracy my ass! We as people have little or no say whatsoever.
