Was hoping someone can help, the last couple of years my feet have suffered to the cold when Skiing, have always dried the boots each day and fresh ski socks etc, but my feet feel cold and wet, must have sweaty feet :( . Heading away last week in february and I have looked on line for boot heaters and best so far is about €160 for a pair of Thermic: http://cozywinters.com/shop/thermic-foot-warmer-smax.html . I would like to hear from people that have used boot heaters and can they recommend a brand or model to buy. Don't want to waste money so any advise is much appreciated.

I know a few race coaches who use the Hot-tronic footbed system and swear buy it, do not think it is cheap though, about the €200 mark. The problem is if you skimp on it you will have problems with batteries, or foot support in the long run.

Do they work yes certainly if however if you have them on full power they will not last long past midday. Trick is to get your boots warm in the Am before you leave and keep them heaters on an average temp for the day and don’t forget to turn them off at lunch.

Thanks for that, found a place giving advise on DIY heaters http://www.epicski.com/t/100607/diy-boot-heater but its a bit messy and Therm-ic for new heaters, didn't spot Hot-tronic but will check it out. Your right not cheap but last yr I was close to stopping skiing as my feet were so cold, poor circulation.
