Try using the stock Android browser. I know it doesn't work on the Chrome browser, but works perfect for me on the stock. I'm also using it on a Galaxy Note 2, so not sure if it will work properly on another device.

the nexus 7 comes with Chrome instead of the Stock browser. I found an apk installer for the Stock browser online. Opened it on the nexus 7 but it wouldnt install. Something to do with permissions..

managed to get it working with firefox.
I uninstalled the flash from the apps menu
then installed this old version http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.112.60/install_flash_player_ics.apk
After installation, i killed firefox from the apps menu. Then opened it again and tried out the rte live player and it works.

I have nexus 7 with jellybean installed and i am unable to watch the rte player. I downloaded the above file but this did not work. A message popped up telling me to download newer version. Can anyone point me in the direction of the file I need. Thanks

Did you uninstall and reinstall Firefox? Also have you allowed your tablet to download apps from unknown sources?

Hi I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox now I am able to watch videos on rte player. Tried one or two and worked fine. However I haven't been able to get a live TV show working yet. When I click on a live show the 30 second ad pops on and plays fine but then I just get a black screen and no sound. But the time is ticking away. Any help with this?

That happened me until I deleted the other flash file. It's working fine now.

Thanks for your reply. I tried installing those files but I still have the same problem of not being able to watch the live streams. I can watch recorded shows no problem. Why is this anybody know?

Hopefully will find some help here.
I'm trying to get some sort of flash player that will work on an Android 4 tablet.

Go settings > Security > un-tick "Unknown sources" (as to allow 3rd party apps)

Use the link GBX provided and scroll down till ye find

Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives:
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.37)

Download that and then your sorted

EDIT: just to note, use firefox or the stock browser, won't work with chrome or dolphin

It's android 4.0.3. will that make any difference?
And once I have allowed third party downloads, change it back again?

No Android "officially" supports flash now...

it's unavailable from Play Store, at least for all above ICS.....

see here, from my previous post, includes links for flash d/l from Adobe Archive: [edited for newer Flash version]
Adobe Flash is not "officially" supported for Android 4.1 and above, and is not available from Play store....

however, this last version from Adobe should work, download link:

    Flash Player 11.1.115.69

It's an apk, flash version (11.1.115.69..... which will install as an app, so you will need to allow installation from "unknown sources" in your settings.

    This is the archive page:

    http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html#Flash Player archives

I think for your device, go to Settings>Security on your tablet. On the right scroll down to "Unknown sources" and make sure it's checked. B]this may or may not be correct, device dependent[/B

Also, your browser may have settings for flash which you should enable.
