I am trying to get in contact with Jarek Dudek of Studio 22 in Ennis Co Clare. The land line number is not working and the mobile number constantly rings out. Does any one know if he is still in business or how to contact him?

Hi greenesg, I am a former customer of Jarek Dudek, if you could drop me a line I'd appreciate it. I was having the same problem as you have so it might be useful for both of us to compare notes.

Just wondering if anyone here has been in touch with Jarek Dudek who runs Studio22 in Ennis Co. Clare recently - finding it hard to contact him at the moment (mobile rings out, emails unanswered).

Anyhow if anyone has had similar experiences if they could get in touch with me that would be great.

I managed to get through to him and we got our album after three years of delay. Make of that what you will, obviously if you want to get your photos promptly I'd suggest going somewhere else with your business.

Hi Nonny, it's up to you if you want to use this particular company, I obviously wouldn't in light of my experiences with them. As I said, it took three years to get our wedding album.

Hi,

I know this is an old thread but my wife and I are at our wits ends with Jarek, he took our Wedding pictures in May 2014, and we still haven't received our albums or portrait as agreed, we paid him cash up front and he has just taken the piss since then, promising and promising that the albums had been ordered, when they obviously have not.

Does anyone know where he is now based? He did open a new studio up near Hermitage (beside Mulqueens Garden Center), but that has since gone, he doesn't respond to any of our phone calls or text messages.

I had much the same situation after our wedding - paid up and couldn't get my album after months of calls. For a finish I started calling day and night until he finally had no answer but to acknowledge me. I'll PM you some more.

Yep, that's Jarek. Really annoyed to hear he's up to his old tricks to be honest. If he's not capable of managing his business properly he shouldn't be taking on new clients!

The latest update is that we will receive our albums in two weeks (I wont hold my breath), although he hasn't told us this directly yet himself, it had to come through a third party who had recommended him in the first place.

If anyone comes on this in the future looking for a recommendation, then it is simply STAY AWAY!

I genuinely hope you get sorted but I heard the same thing many times from him! It was always "in a few weeks" but it took a lot longer than that. Just keep the pressure on him.

Hi Bernieca, for a finish I started calling Jarek every time I was free and tag teamed with my wife. When one of us was busy or at work, the other would call. Just persistent harassment until we finally got our album (we never got our portrait). Night and day, evening and morning clogging up his phone so it was hard for others to get through to him. He is a disgrace! He was living near the Woodstock hotel but that was 3 years ago.

Your other option is to ring liveline or the local media. I had talked to liveline a few months ago about him but I guess they couldn't get enough people on the record to do a story about it. If you contact Jane Murphy on joe@rte.ie she might be able to help. It's amazing how bad publicity can motivate people to fulfil their responsibilities! I emailed the clare people as well but got no response, maybe if more people contact them they'll sit up and take note.

Hi Caddy, I can give you his mobile number if you PM me, I'm not sure if posting it here would be allowed by mods.

I was in a similar boat and eventually I had to call him basically round the clock until he engaged with me. Be prepared for plenty of waiting though, I must have rang him hundreds of times and sent loads of texts until he finally answered. I basically tag teamed with my wife and my parents - I would call when I was on a break from work, then my wife/parents would take over. Literally non stop until he gave in.

I'd repeat what I said in my above post about contacting liveline too. He is a disgrace.

Thanks HappyNoel. I have tried ringing and texting his mobile I'd say hundreds of times at this stage and haven't got a response in over 6 months. He seems to have moved house as well.
I agree with you he's an absolute disgrace , so annoyed.

Hey all, I had the pleasure of speaking to Jarek this morning, there was a million and one excuses and of course no accountability or remorse, loads of others peoples fault but not his own of course. He has said that we will have our album by the end of January and that he has a new supplier sourced in Scotland because his other let him down, now I dont believe this for a minute, but this will be the last straw for me, I will be engaging legal proceedings if I dont have my album by the last day of January.

I think he answered me as he may have changed phones, so i suggest trying to call again, he is a disgrace of a person and has no regard for the fact that he has taken our money and produced no product for it.

We spoke with some friends last night and they told us an album should take a max 5-7 days incl delivery from when it is ordered, so this shows what a chancer this guy is, we were married in May 2014.

If anyone would like more info dont hesitate to PM me.

Yep, heard that one before. My album came from Austria apparently. I'd say nobody in Ireland would want to deal with him at this point, hence the overseas orders.

He has done work for the Clare Champion and Clare People so they may have more up to date contact details for him.

Hey Happy Noel,

Got the album just before Christmas (a Christmas Miracle) - we endured plenty of excuses, stories, lies along the way but glad to have finally gotten it and are now shut with Mr.Dudek.
