Amsterdam New Years - Where to sleep?

I really trying to think outside the box here :P Two of us will be in Amsterdam for new years eve, our hostel checkin is at two the next day. For that night we can't find any accomodation that isnt prohibitively expensive or quite far out, many have "5 nights only" etc.

Where can we sleep in Amsterdam that is safe and secure for only a few hours if we really can't stand anymore? We have places either side of NYE but not for the night itself.

    Any bright idea? Im desperate:o

Red light district, find the cheapest window lady and join the dots....... Better than hanging round the streets....

Might be some more affordable places in 'North Amsterdam', which is accessible by an all-day ferry behind the central station.

TBH, all of Amsterdam is expensive if you're going solo. Hostels, obviously are cheaper, but there are lots of awesome deals to be had on AirBnB.
