After nearly 7years of solid backup use the left bud of my Jay's Qjays has begun to crackle and cut out, the breakup seems to occur just at the tip of the bud and with a little fiddling i'll get sound. As I use them while exercising it's not ideal to have such a sensitive wire so I'd like to send them off and have someone who has the ability replace their cable for me.

Who have any of you used before that you can recommend?

I'm gonna give this thread the occasional bump as some newbie might have a solution, it'd be handy to be able to recommend someone who rewires headphones/iem's in future too.

or learn to do it yourself - but a decent soldering iron and practice on something else first. get donor cable from cheap earphones or from internet.
