Coast to coast...

I was checking out garmin activities earlier (nerdy or wha'?) for something else but I came across this run which was only completed 2 months ago.
It seems very impressive and a consistent pace the whole way for a total time of less than 20hrs. Has anyone else any information on people who have done 'Coast to coast' and how does this run compare (very well I'd assume)?

Don't know anybody who has done this but there is a charity Ultra Triathlon which is taking place next year which includes running from Galway to Dublin over 5 days.

Looks like it was done over 4 days, about 30ish miles a day...

Thanks for that B. This crowd did it around the same time in Oct over a few days but I was wondering about a single-stage attempt.

Good call there Blockic...I hadn't noticed the total elapsed time being 101hrs! Good chance they had something to do with the Bray gang mentioned above but the Bray crew finished in Bray and the route above seems to have finished in Sandymount...?

I do recall this happening a few months back though... 126 miles within 24 hours.

Just checked that out and it took them 37 hours in the end. Fair play to them!

I have the book they refer to in that report and it's in the list of things to do.

They did it for charity.

The two lads finished by running the Dublin Marathon on the last day! Pretty decent times too - 3.36 and 3.58 - considering the running they'd done in the run up to it!
