iPod cradle for 2009 E60

    I have a 2009 E60 520d. It has a phone cradle in the centre console. Does anyone know if I can get an iPod (as opposed to iPhone) holder to fit into this cradle that will display menu, music etc. in the iDrive screen?

    You can get a cradle for the iPhone but the cradle only works as a charger as far as I know. You need to plug it into the USB and Aux slots to get the menu and control.

    You would need the ipod module or dension if you want to see playlist and all from the idrive screen.
    Modules are close to 400 euros plus install plus coding
