Having read info on welfare.ie and citizensinformation.ie, I'm none the wiser...

Does anybody know if credits are continued automatically if one moves from a jobseekers payment onto a VTOS payment, or is this something that must be set up separately?

    Thanks

    Here's your answer.
To qualify for VTOS a person must:
    • be at least 21 years of age at the commencement of the course,
    • be in receipt of an unemployment payment or signing for credits for at least 6 months*.

    Thanks danjo,
    I should have been clearer-

I'm not asking about the qualifying conditions for the VTOS scheme, rather the upkeep of credited PRSI contributions having moved from Jobseekers to VTOS
