Panic Stations

Hi, Im in the final year of cultural studies/Digital Humanities (Lecturers have yet to decide what to call it) Course in DKIT. This course is along the lines of an arts/humanities course, I'm majoring in English and Minor in Archaeology and there's a small computer element where we sort of know how to use Dreamweaver. Anyways I'm just in a bit of a panic with everything exams, what to do next feels like the Leaving cert year all over again! So my wee plan was initially was to to a training graduate program for a year then if I didn't get kept on, do a post grad cos felt like I need a break from college craic. But that doesn't seem to be working too well, as companies seem to want people with experience or a business type background which I don't have.
So now it may look like I have to do a Postgrad or go on the Dole and wait for the internship program. So then the postgrad sitaution is messy, cos I don't exactly know what I want to do! Like Archaeology more or less a dead area for work and that, so my other option to look at areas with English, so far the only 2 Masters that really appeal to me is one in Literature and Publishing in NUIG and an arts and heritage management in WIT. I kinda like the idea of working in a publishing company but is this another impossible industry to get into? But it seems better than trying to find employment in a culture/arts/theatre centre which be the areas I be looking for employment after doing the arts and heritage management course. I was also wondering would it look bad that I did a degree and a masters in an I.T? Basically all I want is to find a nice well half decent job and get paid, so I can do the things I want to do in life.
