I've searched the forums and further afired (more forums and media) for details of a case which i can recall in the early to mid 2000 - 2010 date range.
it was about a celebrity who had their bank details compromised by a nosey staff member, and then leaked. Does anyone know where i can find it? Im not sure whether I should name said celeb, but he would be well known in acting film roles.

Give us the name. Its either in the public domain or its not. If there was a court case on it, then its public domain and you can name them. How else do you expect us to find it?

No Quarter and Peregrinus are right. You have not given enough details to allow anyone to locate the case to which you refer.

Anyway, perhaps it would assist you to look up the banker's duty of confidentiality.

Mustard, i think you are correct, if it was in the public domain already, then im not breaking any rules here.

The celeb was colin farrell. his bank account details were viewed by an employee of the bank and a case was taken against the bank.
