I want to get my lip pierced (i have parental permission) but I'm 14. Apparently theres no age laws but studios have their own minimum ages (is that right?) Does anyone know where I can get it done in a safe place with a good reputaion? (Preferably in Kerry/Cork or dublin) Thank you

I'm afraid that there's nowhere reputable that will pierce your lip at 14. It is worth waiting till you're 16 in order to get it done by someone that will do a good job of it for you.

I agree with Damo. I don't see any piercer with a shred of decency and professional pride piercing a 14 year old, parental consent or not. You would do well waiting until you are sixteen. Also I can see your school pitching a fit if you come in with your lip pierced. Most schools frown on all piercings bar one set of lobes

If you'd have to take it in and out for school there's no point in getting it done, it will just be constantly aggravated. It's the waiting game for you im afraid!
