Youngster Looking to Bulk Up

    I've recently turned 18 and have decided that I want to try and put on a bit of muscle, I am relatively fit but just don't really have an muscle or "strength".

    I have had a set of dumbbells with various weights for a year or so, I used them regularly at the start but stopped after a while as I was seeing no real improvements. All I was doing was curls for my biceps, I tried curls for my triceps as well.

    I have to admit I saw a change with my biceps alright, but couldn't see any difference in my triceps.

    Recently, I've bought a chin-up bar that you can use for press up's as well.


    I'd just like to know what would you guys recommend I do, the main parts that I would like to concentrate on are my chest, and my arms(biceps & triceps).
