Driving Licence increase by 120%!

    Found out by chance that the 10 year licence fee is going from €25 to €55 on Jan 1st. Worse still, if you need a HGV liscence the longest you can get is 5 years. So a 120% increase for 50% of the period - thanks very much!

    Also, they are bringing out the new card type from January 19th, but if you renew or pass your test between 1st to 19th you still only get the paper licence, at the dearer rate!

    More stealth taxes
