ITV 2,3,4 HD working on Irish Sky card?

Just noticed that ITV2 ,3, and 4 HD are all working on my Irish Sky Card. Full Irish subs with HD subscription.

My card is plugged into a vuduo and all the channels are coming up available to view.

    Anyone know why and how?

    Thanks.

It's been that way since the channels launched. I guess they didn't change it as they aren't on the Irish Sky EPG and very few people have the ability of actually tuning them in (ie: those using a non Sky box).

I have a recent Sky+HD box and I think I can tune them in? I add them like any other channel and they appear in my "Other Channels" list. I can watch them, and the oncreen logo confirms that they are the HD versions. I presume my box isn't downscaling them.

Really you sure? Unless something has changed very recently with the new EPG the "add channels" doesn't allow a choice of the 29500 symbol rate required nor does it scan DVB-S2 transponders for ITV 2-4 HD.

The ITV 2-4 HD channels are on a TP with DVB-S2 and SR of 29500 .

    How about 5HD?

I'm not 100% positive, because I don't usually watch ITV 2-4, and I'm out of the country at the mo (until the 23rd) so I can't exactly double check right now! I could definitely tune in Channel 4HD manually if that's any good to you. I'll have a look when I'm back. :)

Yes Ch4 HD is on a DVB-S TP with SR of 22000 so the Sky box can see it.

CH 5 HD is DVB-S2 SR 29500 so cannot be tuned in. Also it's not viewable on a ROI card anyhow (AFAIR), but I can view it on my FTV Uk card (if I let it get the entitlements updated in a Sky box).

No need to check. They cannot be tuned into Other Channels on a Sky box

It's not a sky box so it won't block Free To Air channels.

The channels asked about are not FTA channels.
