At your age a CV is really more a description of yourself more than a "why I am qualified to do this job" one.

    Break it down into sections:

    1. Contact Info - Name, address, email address and phone number
    2. Work Experience - Name each employer, your position, a very brief description of duties. List them starting with the most recent first
    3. Education - For you this will probably be your Junior Cert results, but if you happen to have any relevant certificates, then mention them.
    4. Interests - if you have any notable achievements (e.g. "All-Ireland U16 Hurling champions 2011"), then put them in here, otherwise just a description of the kind of things you like to do outside of school.

Try to avoid making it more than one page. But at the same time it should be clear and easy to read, so if you find yourself really squashing stuff in to make one page, then it's OK to go to two pages.

    Template and some advice here:

Don't forget about the cover letter! It'll probably be more important than your CV considering you have little work experience.

    keep it simple
    your education as well
if you can get a reference off a teacher that would be a big benefit since your only 16 your not expected to have experience , so any teacher or princible to give you a reference at your age can help quite alot
goodluck in getting a job mate
