Cube U18GT dao?

    I just got a Cube U18GT, when I plugged it in screen lit up for a second and then blank. no lights on, tried using usb cable to charge and nothing happens, played with on/off button but nothing happens.
    Am I right in thinking its a doa item? Any ideas/suggestions ?

    I would try another USB Cable just to rule out the cable being the issue, but it does sound like a doa alright.
