Removing cement from cut stone

Hi. I am removing old concrete render from a patch of external wall(this part of the wall is now inside due to extension) that has cut stone underneath. While the render comes off with a bit of work using a bolster and lump hammer, when I get to the cut stone, there are bits of concrete left on it that I would like to be able to remove and clean up the cut stone and have as a feature.

Is the only way to clean this up by sandblasting? The area is 3sq metres and is indoors. Is there any other system that can be be attached say to a drill to clean up the stone work?

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can get a wire brush attachment for a drill - it would be worth a try for little outlay

Good thinking. Will try it at the weekend. Have a wire brush there as well, will see if that works

You could use acid to dissolve the cement.
Santrax is one brand. Ask for brick cleaning fluid at any builders' merchant.
