I just done writing 2,567 words on an essay.

    How the fuck do I make it through the rest of the day? I'm wrecked tired. Should I just go hand it in and come back home to bed? How do you manage it when you have to? I need tips, here.

    If you can go home then do. In my experience, your brain will be a bit all over the place and you won't learn anything if you do stay.

    Shush, you bollix. I'm tired here! I'm generally pretty spot on with spelling and grammatical errors, so on. Now every one is gonna point it out and instead of receiving tips, I'll have people making shitty jokes about a missing word for three pages.

    That's only about 8.5 pages typed and spaced properly.

    I hope for your sake you dont need to provide a thesis at the end of whatever course you're on.

    I work a full time job while doing my degree, and the times I get to write my assignments are after work or at the weekends.

    Man the hell up.

    OP, I take it you were up all night because you left your essay til the last minute and today you have college/work so you're asking here what you should do to stay awake? Your post isn't clear..

    Have some coffee or Red Bull, you'll still be tired and won't feel great but it will keep you awake. Go to bed early tonight and get a good 10-12 hour sleep.

    OP, 2600 words is not a lot unless it's on some extremely complicated scientific topic.

    I'm about 2,600 words down today too....of a 5,000 word assignment that I plan to have finished by Thursday before work.

    Are you a first year on your course by any chance? :P

    Anyway, I suggest tea and comfort. If that's the end of your essay then you can do as you please but if, like me, you have a bigger hurdle to reach then I suggest a lot of rest now and an early morning tomorrow. The brain is apparently more active early in the day.
