    I own it, but I haven't read it from start to finish, if that's what you mean. I have the 5th Anniversary edition with Harrison Ford on the cover (taken from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.)

    It's a solid reference book, though I prefer the likes of the Time Out Film Guide myself.

    I got it as a gift, good to dip into. Always thought it was a rather weird title to be honest. Are there some movies I should wait until I'm dead before going to see?

    Plus say you get this book when you're 20, that means you've probably got about 15000-20000 days to clear that 1001 movies.

    If you're watching the classics backlog at such a slow rate you're probably not that interested in the subject/task to begin with.
