    Hi,

Will I be able to play modern games such as Far Cry 3, Call of Duty, Xcom etc on my Asus Laptop? Running Win 7 Home Premium, Intel B950 (Dual Core I think) at 2.10 GHz and 4 GB of RaM?

An idea what graphics card ya have or laptop model? Might be able to play some older games a couple of years old but definitely not any new ones

System properties says Desktop performance for Windows Aero. I doubt if there is a separate card in the laptop.

Is there any graphics card? If not there's probably no hope. If there is, they might play (I wouldn't bet on far cry) but you'll be using lowest settings, and even still I doubt it'll be an enjoyable experience.

    So realistically, no...

That's sort of what I thought. Maybe I'll try some of the online games like Empire.

Laptops simply aren't good for gaming. To get something anywhere decent you must spend over 1.5k euro, which ends up being something you coud probably build for half that.
