Are they the "microlights" that you got??

Mine are normal sized LED lights and the light off them is great...have them on the front porch allready

The microlights are alot dimmer than the normal sized LED lights....I checked out 2 sets earlier on today in Clarehall.

Yes,all the outdoor lights are lights with an IP Rating (IP44 in this case) that prevents water/moisture ingress.

just to let you guys know mircolights are not LEDs. they are just very small incandescent bulbs (ie normal bulbs). the drawback is if the bulb goes, which happens, then you can not replace it.

i buy xmas lights professionally and tesco have gone low budget this year. bulb spacing is poor and most of the lights are static. (not chasing)

I'm told the xmas light professional purchasing sector goes into overdrive this time of year

Wishful thinking on my behalf, but at the same time I never actually got around to doing any price research. So now that they're bought and in use, are they a bargain indeed?

Yep,they are a bargain indeed...as 300 led christmass lights for under 20 euro (18 euro in Tesco) is a bargain.

They are also a very pleasant light to look at too.

The next best price that I came accross was/is in Homestore & More,200 LED lights for 17 euro 49 cents.

I'm looking for a nice set of "warm" lights, not tacky flashy ones, so outdoor ones which can be used inside and can be set as static and if flashing do so in a glowing way, as in glow bright and dim, not flash on and off. Any suggestions? I'd probably be happy with 300 of the outdoor led lights for 18eur if they have any left...

€17.49 in Home store and more for 200 Warm White, 8 controls (incl static) on them so when you are having a party you can put them on mad flashing to act as disco lights :D -

Any other suggestions on where to find a set of outdoor/indoor WARM, soft but bright white or coloured lights that glow brighter and dimmer or can be set static around the South Dublin area for a reasonable enough price?

360 lights in Homestore + More for €25 (which I thought was a reasonable enough price).

I got LED 'Supabright' ones, but I'm fairly sure they had the other warm ones, too. Multifunction pattern, choice of multicoloured or clear (they had blue, red, etc. aswell, but only in 100 and 200. I think for the 360 it was only clear and multicoloured).

Thanks KKV but according to their site above, they are sold out of all the warm ones I'm afraid.
