    Folks

Just to get a few thoughts on this one. The above is losing power between 1500 and 2700 rpm but not every time I drive the car. A total loss of acceleration. If I put the clutch to the floor the engine will rev all the way to the limiter. It's happening more often this weekend than it has before. Could it be Air Flow Meter? No warning lights on btw..

Yes, it could be an air flow sensor. But more than likely fuel filter. :)

    Few things possible:

    common on 2.0 d4d
SCV valve sticking, ( it regulates fuel pressure)
EGR valve stuck open ( this would more then likely trigger a EML)

Start with the fuel filter anyways and see if any improvent.

Airflows dont really give trouble, but you could clean it out with some carb cleaner anyways

Fuel filter only changed 10 k miles back. It's getting worse so hopefully I can narrow it down.

    Folks,

Just to let you know that the car is running great now. I took off the EGR valve which was choked up with carbon, cleaned it with carb cleaner and put it back on. Car is running like new. Thanks for the tip!
