    My trouble is as follows:

I have a 2003 E200 Kompressor and my problem is my radio.

When I start the car radio is working grand but after about 30 - 40 seconds the radio goes quiet....no sound, however when I stop at a junction or lights I can hear the computer resetting and voila the radio works again.

If I stop at a junction and the radio does not function, I pump the brake pedal two or three times, computer resets and radio works.....

The radio itself is working and the CD Player is working..problem seems to be the volume

Hope some one can help me.....

    Thanks in advance

    Jimmy

It sounds to me like the settings for the volume in the radio when the car slowing down ie the brake pedal being pumped the radio plays again.

Get into the radio menu and change the setting of the volume for when driving. Problem sorted

Is it maybe the speed sensor/volume adjustment? You know how it is as you increase speed the volume automatically raises. Mine does so at 40, then 50, then 60 mph. Maybe yours is out of kilter? As suggested above, a Merc forum would probably point you in the right direction. Most cars seem to have their common niggles, maybe this is one of the Mercs?
