    Hi guys,
My OH is working away at the minute and he usuall deals with this kind of stuff so bear with me please :) In a nutshell the electric shower in our ensuite has to be turned up to 10 to get hot water and even then it is not roasting.....any ideas what the problem is? Do I get an electrician or a plumber?

    Thanks in advance :)

you could try taking off the shower head and see if you get hot water at a lower setting than 10(higher pressure)

the shower head may need descaling
or the filter inside the shower may be clogged

Assuming it is an electric heated shower, as opposed to a mixer shower, it sounds more like one half of the element is not on.

A scaled up shower head or blocked filter would in fact make the shower too hot by restricting the flow rate.

Is the heat selector switch at full? As in the one that selects cold, heat one and heat 2?

What make of shower is it?
