Hi there, Wondering if anyone could set me straight here.

Applying for a postgrad course today, think I should qualify for my fees paid, the max you can get is 6270 but my fees would be over 8000. Will I be able to put the balance myself or do you have to apply for a course with fees under the threshold.. Saturday so no one I can ring and deadline is today. Cheers.

Postgraduate students who meet the qualifying conditions for the special rate of grant will be eligible to have their post-graduate tuition fees paid up to the maximum fee limit (€6,270).

Dont know for certain but I'd assume if you qualify they would pay the maximum rate and leave you to deal with the rest if they are not covered. SUS wont care what the actual fees are as long as you are eligible and the college wont care where the money comes from as long as its paid.
