    Hi Folks

I had no idea where to post this, so I thought I'd try here. I have a converted attic and was quoted €900 pump bio-foam between the exposed rafters in under the edge of the roof (which was never insulated). Attached is a photo of the spec I put together. This seems extremely expensive to me. Also, I'm not sure it is the correct job. Any insights or advise would be much appreciated.

    Hi there.
I've insulated my attic just before xmas 2012, and my cheapest quote was e1400, so yours sound about right. the height of my attic is roughly 2.5m and ceiling area is about 10 by 10 meters (dunno exact area of the roof). And i rang all companies in Ireland, believe me :)

still think its well worth it, house is so much warmer, attic is airtight and warm, no drafts anywhere
