    which would be the best of these chips to get

    i5-3570k(ivy bridge)
    i7-3770k(ivy bridge)
    AMD-8350 (piledriver)

    virtualisation...running windows 2008 servers/linux/windows 7.....
    for microsoft/linux exams...

    I have a 3570k and an FX8150 and for general use the i5 is better but as an esx server and for visualization the FX8150 is miles better.
    I would pick the FX8350 for visualization performance definitely but if you want to run just one os on it in the future maybe a 3570k then.
