Mcafee Anti Virus Murder Suspect

Just came across this story...very weird. Will be following with interest. Why is he running and using his legal team to block deportation if he has nothing to hide and is not a prime suspect? Seems all those subscriptions people pay go to him to swan about South America with his 20 year old girlfriend. Nothing wrong with that, but this murder thing is odd. Thank God for AVG.
Anti-virus software pioneer John McAfee has arrived in the United States after being expelled from Guatemala.

He was escorted to the airport in Guatemala City and placed on board an American Airlines flight to Florida.

Mr McAfee had expressed his wish to return to the US and said he was "perfectly happy with the decision".

The 67-year-old was detained last week for immigration violations after he sneaked into Guatemala from Belize, where the authorities still want to question him about the murder of a neighbour, American Gregory Faull.

Lawyers for the software tycoon successfully fought attempts to deport him to Belize.

After landing, Mr McAfee was escorted from the plane by airport security officers, according to passengers.

Shortly afterwards, he tweeted: "I am in South Beach," referring to the popular tourist area on Miami Beach.

Mr McAfee had been held for a week in Guatemala, where he surfaced after evading police in Belize for nearly a month following the killing of Mr Faull on the Caribbean island of Ambergris Caye.

Police in Belize want to quiz Mr McAfee as a "person of interest" in Mr Faull's death, although the technology guru's lawyers blocked an attempt by Guatemala to send him back there.

Authorities in Belize say he is not a prime suspect in the investigation. Mr McAfee has denied any role in Mr Faull's death.

The weirdest thing about this story is that I found out that his name is pronounced "Mack-Ah-Fee" and not "Mick-Aff-Ee"

Nah, not taking it personally, just annoying that the predominant tone by some is a futile attempt at sarky witticism, no matter the topic. Oh well...
