WTD: Winter Groupset

Howdy all,

In the market for a fully functional groupset, though I don't need it to be in good condition. Would like it to be 10 speed. Lets hear what's out there!

I'm due to replace the following off a bike soon. 10 speed shimano

- 105 shifters
- the rest ultegra
- standard double 172.5

Running grand, 2 seasons on it, but not massive kms - maybe 10K last 2 seasons, as I have 3 bikes. Less on the shifters.

Make me an offer and if its worth it I'll take it off and get it shipped this week.

I have brand new 9 speed chain and block if of any use - half new price whatever that is.

Photos - quality not great but I was in a rush.

A couple of scrapes on the shifters but nothing of any consequence

I have a decent amount of stuff from a bike I am stripping:

A triple, BB and cranks, Tiagra. Looking for 20 euro for the cranks and triples, BB can be thrown in if its in good nick.
Tiagra brake/shifters (they could be old 105s) 3 x 10, will check tomorrow 20euro each
Tiagra band on FD 10euro
Have a collection of brake callipers, mixture of tektro and 105s 10euro for any working ones, free spares for the rest of them, they are in my desk at work will dig them out and post pictures.
Open to negotiation but have to be collected/meet up in Dublin.

fago, would be interested in the shifters as have been looking for a pair for a while. How much are you looking for them?

I'd be interested in the chainset & BB, front mech (if it's a band-on 31.8mm) and brakes.

If you have a seatpost then that'd be great.

Oh and second in line for shifters please.

If he doesn't want it I'll start a thread once I have them stripped off.
Looking at wiggle shifters around 200 so I'd let them go for 80-100.

Hi CramCycle ... would you accept 50 euro for the lot? I can meet up in Dublin on Friday if that suits.

What ratios are on the triple and what size diameter is the FD please?

Unfortunately, as plans are want to do, mine have changed. But, as with all good groupsets, they'll sell rather easily.

An update to my previous msg to CramCycle... I'd be happy to do a deal on the following: Crankset, BB, Shifters, front mech, Brakes, Seatpost, handlebars... I've bought a 2nd hand frame that I'd like to build up over the holiday so let me know what you have and when you are able to sell.

I am stripping them off my old alu bike as its cracked, the only thing I want to keep of it are the wheels and the seatpost/saddle.

Mistake on my original listing though, not combined brake/shifters, downtube shifters, with brakes in usual position, like an audax/tourer set up.

If you wanted I could give you the whole thing eg drop handlebar (think its 40 but it could be 42, not sure), downtube shifters, triple crankset (AFAIK its 50/39/30, no slipping yet but I imagine the 50 is worn, the inside ones had very little/no use), front derailleur (unsure of the size diameter, clears the triple I have), cranks, rear derailleur (105, 10 speed), cables, brakes, BB (unsure of condition as crack is beside it), shifters (3*10).

I'd sell the lot for 75euro or if you just want specifically what you've mentioned (Crankset, BB, Shifters, front mech, Brakes, handlebars), I'll strip it off when I get a chance and let them go for 60euro.

This thread seems to have moved a bit from OP, but anyway, I have a standard double 105 chainset I changed off a second hand bike I bought last year, as I'm a wimp and needed a compact. 172.5 I think, but can confirm. Seems in good condition to me but I'm no expert. If you're interested drop me a PM & I can probably arrange inspection. Will have a look at price but prob around 40-50% of cheapest new. Just sitting in my garage.

Sorry CramCycle but I will have to pass for now. I was hoping for a 52-42-30 triple with combined shifters and I've got some handlebars, rear mech and brakes sorted so I don't need those anymore. Appreciate the update and GLWS.
