Hey, so I been on cancellation list since start of October, then my mothers instructor said that it's worth emailing them as they will give date very fast.
And for future: it really works, if you want to speed up test date, just email them.

I did and I got test date next day. Anyways it's on:
    Wednesday 02/01/2013 at 15:45
    in Finglas.

How would you suggest I should prepare? I drive every day couple of hours, so my clutch controls/controls/gears is okay. When I did a pre-test I failed it, got two red marks because apparently in Finglas there is two "STOP" signs that have line marking but no actual sign, I skipped two of those and that gave me two marks.

    So any suggestions?
Where can I read or learn about hand signals? any good website?

Hand signals are in the rules of the road, you should study this for hand signals, and road signage. (They can also ask some general rules of the road

Take a pre-test or two and keep up the normal practice (but concentrate when you are driving - perfect practice and all that!)

Also a solid line on a junction is a stop ALWAYS. regardless of other signage.

Get a lesson from your instructor & make sure you know how to do everything on the test properly. (reverse, turnabout, moving off, observation, hand signals). If you know all of this then all you do is practice almost every day in the area that you are doing your test. This worked for me, I was in Navan most days in the weeks before my test, passed first time;)

The Rules of the Road are online www.rotr.ie all the signs and hand signals are there. Most driving school websites have Driving Test Theory Questions.

May I suggest bringing an experienced driver with you to the test centre.

    I've sent you a pm
