Absolutely Raging!!! I rang FIS (renewal 19th September) and the lady i spoke to told me that my renewal was closed because I was in excess AND it was closed on 19th September. I have had no notification of this and I have rang 3 seperate occasions since I sent in the application and been told that I was still waiting to…

I have had no notification of this and I have rang 3 seperate occasions since I sent in the application and been told that I was still waiting to be looked at.
I don't understand how I am in excess. I was on Maternity Leave for 6months this year April to October which was not topped up. My partner was receiving JA while I was on Mat Benefit but that stopped in October. My wages in 2011 were 453 per week take home, his earnings (selfemployed) were €1700 for the year.
This year my wages were the same from Jan to April and I was on mat leave till October and he was receiving JA while I was on Mat Leave. I just don't understand. There has to be a mistake. we have 2 kids.
